Some Wausau organizations are offering trunk-or-treat events for Halloween 2024

WAUSAU – As Halloween approaches and cities and villages set their annual trick-or-treat hours , many organizations are scheduling their own "trunk-or-treat” events, gathering a variety of decorations, candy and volunteers at one location.

These events are scheduled throughout the month in the Wausau area.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Restlawn Memorial Park will host Trunk or Treat Trail from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 at 235962 N. Troy St. in Wausau. Guests will be able to walk along a designated path to collect treats. The event is free, but new or gently used coat donations will be collected for Coats For Kids.

Sunday, Oct. 20

Wausau West High School will host Trunk or Treat from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20 at 1200 W. Wausau Ave. in Wausau. Everyone is invited.

Thursday, Oct. 24

Trinity Lutheran Church & School will host Trunk or Treat at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at 501 Stewart Ave. in Wausau. The community is welcome to attend.

Friday, Oct. 25

Jonnee Baur-American Family Insurance Agent-Wausau, WI will host Trunk or Treat from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at 227088 Rib Mountain Drive in Wausau. The event will include decorated vehicles, games, costumes, candy and surprises.

Saturday, Oct. 26

Grace United Church of Christ will host Trunk or Treat from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 at 535 S. Third Ave. in Wausau. Everyone is invited for popcorn, candy and free books.

Central WI Realtors & Affiliates will host Trunk or Treat Event-Hosted by CWBR CARES from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at 2100 Stewart Ave. in Wausau. The event will feature decorated vehicles, costumes, candy and giveaways.

Mosinee Hockey Club will host Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 26 at 701 11 ^th St. in Mosinee. This event will also feature an open skate, concessions and costumes. This event will collect donations to support GiGi’s Playhouse.

Sunday, Oct. 27

St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church-WELS will host Trunk or Treat from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at 2822 N. Sixth St. in Wausau. Vehicles will be set up with candy, and hot cocoa and snacks will be available in the church basement. The event is free.

Christ Lutheran Church will host Trunk or Treat from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at 1300 Townline Road in Wausau. Everyone is welcome at the free event. Church members will compete for best-themed vehicle.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

Our House Senior Living-Wausau Assisted Care and Memory Care will host Trunk or Treat from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at 210 W. Campus Drive in Wausau.  Families are invited to the event featuring trick-or-treating and decorated trunks.
