    MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – The Wausau Post 10 Legion baseball team dropped its final two games at the three-team Gopher Classic, losing to Lincoln (Neb.) Carpet Land 14-8 and Rock Island (Ill.) Post 200 8-4.

    Wausau led 7-0 after two innings against Lincoln but couldn’t hold on, as the Bulldogs gave up 14 unanswered runs from the third through seventh innings.

    Wausau finished with 12 hits, including two each from Jackson Albee, Dylan Dobratz and Luke Smogoleski. Oliver Turjaski drove in three runs.

    Wausau was hurt by three errors and 10 walks in the loss.

    The Bulldogs committed four errors, which led to five unearned runs, in the loss to Rock Island.

    Ethan Sillars had two doubles and drove in three runs for Wausau (13-16), which finished the tournament with a 2-4 record.

    Wausau hosts Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday at Athletic Park.
