Marshfield home badly damaged in weekend blaze

A weekend fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to a home in Marshfield, officials say, though no injuries were reported.

Two people were displaced from the home due to the blaze, which was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 in the 1100 block of 15th Street. Officials say the blaze appears to have begun in the garage and spread to the home and attic.

Residents were evacuated safely. There’s no word on what caused the blaze.
