Boys & Girls Club to host open house

WAUSAU – The Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area will host a Back to School Open House Sept. 21 in conjunction with the Welcoming Week event being held in the Wausau area.

The open hosue will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Caroline S. Mark site, 1710 N. Second St., Wausau.

The community is invited to explore the club and learn about its after school and non-school day programming.

The event will include fun interactive games and activities that showcase the many opportunities the Boys & Girls Club has to offer, including technology and robotics activities, games in the gymnasium, an art project, board games, making a simple recipe in the teaching kitchen, and dance studio fun.

Membership rates, registration and transportation information will be available for the 2024-25 school year.
