Woof! My name is Jules and I’m hoping you’ll take a chance on a girl like me. It’s hard when it feels like you’ve never really been able to stand on solid ground; I’ve been passed between homes and have now found myself at the Humane Society of Marathon County when all I really ever wanted was some stability and that one place to call home.

I’ve stayed brave and hopeful but I’m not as confident as I once was- you’re sure to notice that when you first meet me. I don’t have the fearless puppy attitude, I’m more reserved and cautious before I decide if I can let you in. Once I feel comfortable around you, you’ll get to see a little bit of my wild side. The one where I get the zoomies, the wiggles and want to be the center of your attention. I’m friendly with other dogs but should not be placed in a home with cats. And due to my size and playfulness, I would be best suited for a home with older kids. I can’t wait to find my people and my place to call home.
