    D.C. Everest boys soccer drops road game at De Pere

    DE PERE – De Pere scored twice in the first half and D.C. Everest could not recover as the Evergreens dropped a 5-1 decision in a nonconference boys soccer game Monday at De Pere High School.

    Trailing 3-0 early in the second half, Hezekiah Mletzko scored off an assist from Jacob Gissel in the 53rd minute for the Evergreens’ only goal. De Pere (5-4-1) would tack on two more scores to pull away.

    Aissen Witter had three saves in goal for D.C. Everest (4-5).

    D.C. Everest is back to Wisconsin Valley Conference play Thursday at Wausau East. Game time is 7 p.m.
