    Mini Makers (MCPL Mosinee)

    Kids throughout Marathon County will have the opportunity to explore process art this fall! Process art is child-led and focuses on creation instead of following specific directions. Each branch will have a different project each month so children and caregivers have an opportunity to unleash their creativity while meeting other community members.     Gourdgeous & Tuberlar No Carve Creation Contest (MCPL Stratford)

    Start October right with a fun afternoon of art creation using pumpkins and potatoes – no carving required! Kids and teens are invited to join us on Oct. 1 from 3:30-6 p.m. at the Stratford Branch, 213201 Scholar St., Stratford. We will provide the pumpkins and potatoes along with paint, brushes and other craft materials.     Friend or Foe? Clay Creations (MCPL Edgar)

    Kids and teens are invited to the Edgar Branch, 224 S. Third Ave., Edgar, on Oct. 7 from 4-5 p.m. to create a little buddy out of air-dry clay, or make a foe in the form of a monster! Participants can take their little friend or foe home to dry, or leave it at the library. Come back between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Oct. 11 to paint your creation!     Spooky Movie Marathon (MCPL Wausau)

Patrons can stop in the children’s area in early October to cast their votes for movie choices. Movies will start at 2 p.m. each day, Oct. 23-25, and all movies are rated G or PG.     Teen Dungeons & Dragons One Shot (MCPL Wausau)

    Calendar Confusion Breakout Box (MCPL Rothschild)

    Tweens and teens are encouraged to test their problem-solving skills to unlock a breakout box and save the school schedule! Can you solve the puzzles to unlock the box? Find out at the Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild, on Oct. 24-25. This program is best suited for participants ages 8-12. Sessions will take about an hour and registration is required. Sessions on Oct. 24 will start at noon, 2 p.m., and 5 p.m., and sessions on Oct. 25 will start at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Register by calling the Rothschild Branch at 715-359-6208.
