    Wausau West volleyball finishes 2-2 at Appleton East Invite

    APPLETON – The Wausau West Volleyball team finished 2-2 on Saturday at the Appleton East Invitational.

    The Warriors defeated Appleton West and Ashwaubenon, while dropping matches to Green Bay Southwest and Kewaskum.

    Seniors Grace Huggenvik and Claire Calmes led the Warriors’ attack with 18 and 17 kills, respectively. Huggenvik added six blocks, while Calmes dominated at the service line with 12 aces.

    Junior Addy Vaughn led the charge on defense earning 41 digs while also contributing six service aces, and freshman Ava Ngo added 29 assists to round out the offense.

    The Warriors head to Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday for their next Wisconsin Valley Conference match.
