    UPDATE: Owner of Roanoke’s roaming Emu has been identified, RPD says

    ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) – Roanoke PD has released an Emu update.

    According to RPD, the owner of the Emu has been identified. No further details regarding how the animal escaped or if any injuries occurred during the incident have currently been released.

    ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) – Roanoke Police are asking the public for assistance with locating the owners of an Emu that has been seen wandering around Roanoke.

    WFXR news is working to learn more details; however, if you are the owner or have any information regarding the Emu seen in the image below, RPD would like to hear from you.
