YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A 14-year-old girl has been charged with a felony after posting threats to “shoot up the school” in York County.

On Monday, Sept. 9 the resource officer at Tabb High School learned that the girl posted threats on social media on Sept. 8. The officer informed school administrators about the threat and the student was located and interviewed.

After the interview, the student was charged with threats of death or bodily injury to persons on school property.

Upon further investigation, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office determined that the student did not have the means to carry out the threat.

I don’t believe it. A lot of kids bully those they don’t like and use the “school shooter” thing as a way to bully them even more. Nobody takes this kinda shit seriously and they use it as a weapon to anyone they outcast, especially kids. We need to focus on what causes the ACTUAL EVENTS (harassment/bullying).
