PHOTOS: Heavy smoke from vehicle fire on I-64 in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A vehicle fire in Norfolk caused delays on Friday on I-64, according to VDOT.

The incident occurred on I-64, near 264 Interchange. Images from VDOT cameras showed traffic at a standstill on the eastbound 284A exit ramp.

One photo from VDOT cameras showed cars backed up in the single lane.

Meanwhile, another photo showed heavy smoke coming from the vehicle.
