    Three displaced after house fire in Suffolk

    SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Three people were displaced by a house fire in Suffolk Saturday evening.

    Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the 300 Block of Northbrooke around 6:15 p.m. Crews arrived on the scene to find heavy fire showing from the second floor of a two-story home.

    All occupants were out of the building before crews arrived. The three occupants of the structure were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the incident for origin and cause.

    The American Red Cross was requested and will be assisting the three displaced occupants.
