VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Attorney General Jason Miyares will be in Virginia Beach Monday to host a “One Pill Can Kill” Fentanyl Awareness & Narcan Training session.

The free training is open to the public and will cover understanding opioids, how opioid overdoses happen and the risk factors for opioid overdoses.

Additionally, attendees will be trained on how to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of Naloxone (Narcan).

Miyares launched the “One Pill Can Kill” initiative in November 2022, its aim is to help generate open, honest conversations about the extreme threat that counterfeit drugs and opioids pose.

Virginia First Lady Suzanne Youngkin will join Miyares for a panel discussion with a local law enforcement officer and a representative from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

The event takes place from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at Frank W. Cox High School, 2425 Shorehaven Drive.

If the doctors hadn't cut everyone off of pain killers because of all the hoopla the news has created, we, people in pain, wouldn't have to buy off the streets and therefore this wouldn't even be an issue. Thanks to all you chicken crap doctors for creating a death sentence for all pain patients.
