Portion of NC 12 to briefly close on Wednesday

RODANTHE, N.C. (WAVY) – A portion of NC 12 will be briefly closed on Wednesday for a sign removal, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).

The closure is expected at the intersection of NC 12 and Trade Winds Drive in both directions starting at 5:30 a.m., and will continue for around 20 minutes.

During the closure, NCDOT workers will remove an unused overhead sign structure.

As there is no detour for the closure, motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.
