    Package theft in Portsmouth: Police seek help identifying suspect and vehicle

    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a package thief.

    Shortly after 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, an individual stole a package from a property in the 2500 block of Elm Avenue.

    Photos show the suspect apparently bending over to grab the package and getting into the back seat of a silver Ford Fusion with temporary tags that expired on Sept. 20.
