    Crash causes delays on Battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake

    CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle crash caused delays on Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake Friday morning.

    According to Chesapeake Public Works, the northbound lanes of Battlefield Boulevard at Campostella Road are closed due to the crash.

    The road is expected to reopen by 8:15 a.m., according to officials.

    That intersection is where Atlantic Avenue becomes Battlefield Boulevard and crosses Campostella Road. 🤔 It is always a busy intersection. 🚦There are turn lanes in each direction with a minimum of three lanes in each direction. 😯 There have been flowers at the intersection for over a year as a result of a previous deadly accident there. 💔
