Nightly lane closures scheduled at Lynnhaven Pkwy and Magic Hollow Blvd intersection

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Beginning Oct. 4, there will be nightly lane closures at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Magic Hollow Boulevard.

These closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. as crews work to complete a utility project.

A spokesperson for the City of Virginia Beach said the intersection is expected to fully reopen by 7 a.m. on Oct. 6.

The following lanes will be closed during this time:

• Two outside lanes of eastbound Lynnhaven Parkway.
• Left turn lane of Lynnhaven Parkway onto southbound Magic Hollow Boulevard.
• Left turn lane of Magic Hollow Boulevard onto westbound Lynnhaven Parkway.
• Straight lanes through Magic Hollow Boulevard to Lamplight Lane or vice versa.

Warning signs will be placed advising motorists of the utility work.
