Elizabeth City man arrested on drug charges held on $1 million bond

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — A 23-year-old Elizabeth City man has been arrested on several drug charges, according to police.

On Sept. 29, Elizabeth City Police officers arrested Marquise Miles for possession of firearm by felon, trafficking opium or heroin, possession of heroin, possession with intent to sell and/or deliver marijuana, sell or deliver controlled substance within 1,000 ft. of park and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Miles is being held on a $1 million secured bond at the Albemarle District Jail.
