Chesapeake Police searching for missing man

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake Police are looking for missing 41-year-old William Donald McCann, last seen leaving his residence in the 2600 block of Eastwood Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday and was on Route 17 northbound in the Great Bridge area of the city.

Police said he did not take his prescribed mental health medication with him and may be at risk, and investigators are asking anyone with information on where he is to come forward.

McCann is 5-foot-9, 180 pounds, and police said they currently have no information on where he may have been heading, though they believe he could be driving a gray 2024 Honda Civic. He has blue eyes and a bald/shaved head.
