    BAT CAVE, N.C. (WGHP) — Heroes of all kinds, including heroes with four legs, have stepped up after Hurricane Helene brought disaster to western North Carolina .

    On Tuesday, Rey Castillo Photography caught amazing photos of K9 Kyra crossing a highline in Bat Cave, North Carolina.

    Kyra works with handler Andrew Piske of the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Piske is also working with Hendersonville Rescue 9.
