PPD: Boy shot on Augustine Circle in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A boy was shot on Augustine Circle in Portsmouth Thursday night, police said.

Portsmouth Police responded to call for a shooting in the 3800 block of Augustine Circle around 8:47 pm. When officers arrived, they found a boy suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police are not sharing additional details, including the boy’s age, at this time.
