    Warning period begins for red-light cameras at two Suffolk intersections

    SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The warning period for red-light cameras at two Suffolk intersections started on Friday.

    Red-light cameras for Route 58 intersection in Suffolk enter warning period

    The cameras are located at the northbound and westbound approaches to the Portsmouth Boulevard and Nansemond Boulevard intersection, and the southbound and eastbound approaches to the Godwin Boulevard and Kings Fork intersection.

    During the warning period, which is expected to last for 30 days, motorists violating red-light rules will receive a cautionary letter to their homes. Violators will face a $50 fine after the warning period.
