Road rage incident on I-664 in Chesapeake leaves one driver injured

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — One driver was injured following a road rage incident on Interstate 664 at the Pughsville Road off-ramp in Chesapeake.

At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene of an interstate shooting.

Two vehicles traveling northbound on Interstate 664 were involved in a road rage incident that resulted in a shooting. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

State police are seeking any witnesses to come forward that may have seen the incident or who may have information on the driver of the suspected vehicle, a white Nissan Maxima. Witnesses are encouraged to contact questions@vsp.virginia.gov or at (804) 750-8788.
