    Portsmouth State of the Schools to discuss achievements, future of the division

    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The City of Portsmouth is getting ready for the 2024 Portsmouth State of the School’s Wednesday morning.

    The event is scheduled to take place at River’s Casino from 8-10 a.m. Attendees will be able to hear from Superintendent Dr. Elie Bracy III about the division’s achievements and the future for Portsmouth Public Schools, including the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

    Tickets for the event start at $50, and breakfast will be provided. Parents of students, community members and business owners are encouraged to attend.

    10 On Your Side will be in attendance and provide updates throughout the morning.
