Mill Creek Regional Park in Statesboro played host to the finale of two premier tournaments for the GRPA State competition from June 25 to June 29, 2024. Teams came from the seven districts around the state, and teams must have competed in their local district tournament and finished 1st or 2nd in order to advance to state. A total of 23 games were played in the Boys 10u (machine) Bracket, and D2 Champ Wayne County came out victorious in the end against D1 Champ Lyons. Another 17 games were played in the Boys 12u Bracket, with D1 Champ Vidalia able to take out D2 Champ Wayne County in the finals. Bulloch County Recreation and Parks submitted a bid application for the tournament last October, which Kimberly Sharpe presented in front of the State Athletic Committee in December, and they were awarded the tournaments. These two are the premier tournaments for GRPA State competition.
