State police investigating death of inmate at Wayne County Jail
RICHMOND, Ind. — Indiana State Police is investigating the death of in an inmate at the Wayne County Jail Friday morning. Staff at the jail discovered 36-year-old Andrew Taylor unresponsive and rendered medical attention, but Taylor was pronounced dead at the jail. Shortly before 5 a.m., Wayne County Sheriff Randy Ritter requested the Indiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division investigate Taylor's death.
