NW Side elementary school adding security after receiving threats: Principal

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - There will be extra security at a CPS school in Portage Park this morning after a potential threat.

The principal at Reinberg Elementary did not specify what the post to social media said but told parents in an email that it resembled a threat to the school at Newport and Major.

Chicago police and CPS will have officers at the school today, which is open, but there will be no recess or classes outdoors.

When school started this morning, some students entered through a different door.

Police were slated to be at the school during the beginning and end of the day all week.

I have a great idea,treat all Child molesters, Murders,Rapist,Gangs and Animal Abusers the way we treat our homeless animals,put them down for good,bad parents put in prison for life for raising such Evil Monsters,they do not deserve too exist Our Leaders are so corrupt and cold hearted,they have made life so hard for everyone,they have destroyed life for all of us,they are only worried about money and power,they are doing the work of SatanMay God help us.The only way things will get better is the people from all walks of life have to come together,work out our differences,everyone deserves to have affordable housing,jobs,healthcare,the only way to take away our Leaders of the world,is to come together Over God,he gave us everything,we owe him to make the World a better Life for all

But Dont forget Camala Toe Wants No Police at Schools. She stated that about a week before the latest Highschool Shoooting with Colt Gray. Shame. These kids today are getting out of control and them being so exposed to being online at anytime is making it worse. Think twice about your kids over doing devices.
