Edens Expressway closed in both directions following crash

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The William G. Edens Expressway (I-94) is closed in both directions at inbound Old Orchard and outbound Dempster Street because of a crash.

Reports came in at around 3:15 p.m. on Friday of a multi-vehicle crash on the inbound Edens Expressway.

The crash included a semi and a hazmat spill.

WBBM’s Traffic reporter Neil Fiorito says to use Skokie Boulevard to avoid the outbound traffic and Waukegan Road for the inbound side.
