    Pedestrian hit, killed along DuSable Lake Shore Drive early Saturday

    (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle near Chicago's museum campus early this morning.

    Police say a silver SUV struck a man while driving north on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Roosevelt Road just after 4 a.m.

    The pedestrian, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead.

    Officials say the driver of the SUV remained on scene and will be issued citations. The incident is under investigation.
