CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A jewelry store owner is counting their losses after a robbery Monday night on Chicago’s Southwest Side.

Chicago Police said five men or young men entered the Super Mall of the Midway and robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint.

It was at about 5:50 p.m. when police said one of the robbers smashed a display case at the indoor marketplace near 52nd and Pulaski, about two miles from Midway Airport.

In addition to items from the display, police said the robbers also robbed a woman inside the store before taking off.

No one was injured and no one is in custody.
