(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Four Chicagoans were arrested on Wednesday evening at the Oak Brook Mall for alleged theft.

There were two incidents at Macy’s and Nordstrom, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin.

In the first, it's alleged that 23-year-old Talia Martinez-Pacheco and 18-year-old Santiago Rojas-Galea walked out of Macy’s with clothing valued at about $2,4000.

A short time later, it's alleged that 26-year-old Cheryl Gryer and 21-year-old Daiveon Watson walked out of Nordstrom with clothing valued at about $800.

Each is charged with burglary and retail theft.

These incidents happen fairly frequently, often involving people from Chicago, according to Berlin.

Berlin said each of these suspects faces potentially seven years in prison.
