    Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - ECMC has been honored as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Over 1,000 healthcare facilities were eligible, but just 462 received the recognition. The award recognizes health care facilities for their fair and equitable treatment of members of the LGBTQ+ community.

    The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo will award $1 million in grants across 61 different organizations in Buffalo. The funds come from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Legacy Fund. Among the recipients receiving the most funds is the Ralph Wilson Park Conservancy which will get $45,000 for Ralph Wilson Park and $50,000 for the Village of Hamburg for a new pedestrian bridge at Eighteen Mile Creek.

    Regan Development, a Westchester County based developer is planning to construct two affordable apartment projects in Dunkirk for $34 million. The two buildings will be three stories tall and have 38 combined apartment units.
