Villa Maria College will welcome its largest incoming class in its entire 63-year history this school year. Enrollment jumped 13% this year, with 615 total students attending the college. 78 area high schools are represented in this year's class.

Global Concepts Charter School will hold a grand opening for its new Career and Technical Center this morning in Lackawanna. The building has new spacious classrooms, computer labs, kitchens and a student-run café.
