Arrest made in North Tonawanda day care probe

North Tonawanda, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 20-year-old employee at a former day care center in North Tonawanda is facing charges as part of a probe into Sweet Angels Day Care.

North Tonawanda Police say Savanna Huntington faces three counts of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the probe.

Police teamed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Niagara County Child Protective Services and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

Huntington was arraigned in City Court and released with a future court date.

The day care center closed shortly after the initial investigation began.
