Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - BryLin Hospital will announce the winners of its 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Art Contest Tuesday afternoon at 3:30. The theme of this year's contest was "You Are Not Alone", focusing on the importance of support and connection in mental health. Submissions included paintings, drawings and poems. The winners will have their artwork displayed at BryLin for 30 days.

ECMC's Medical Intensive Care Unit has earned a Gold Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. ECMC is one of only 8 intensive care units in New York State to receive the Gold Beacon Award.

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens have named Erin Grajek as Interim President and CEO, one week after the sudden passing of Mark Mortenson. Grajek has been with the Botanical Gardens since 2006, serving as COO since 2021.
