Clarence, N.Y. (WBEN) - Two Rochester women have been arrested and charged as part of a retail theft conspiracy investigation.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Breonna Burrows and two others stole items from T.J. Maxx on Transit Road in Clarence.

At around 10:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, deputies were en route to the store when they saw a gray minivan matching the description of the suspect vehicle on Genesee Street in Lancaster. They say deputies tried to pull over the driver of the minivan, who refused to stop, continued driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light at Ransom Road.

The pursuit reached speeds of 90 mph before it was terminated in the interest of safety.

A second patrol unit located the minivan further East near the intersection of Genesee Street and Walden Avenue in Alden, where, once again, it fled at a high rate of speed.

Dispatchers then notified the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office that the suspects’ vehicle was entering its jurisdiction. Deputies in Genesee County were able to successfully deploy spike strips on the vehicle, which was abandoned in the front yard of a home in the Town of Byron.

The occupants of the vehicle ran off, however, deputies from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office located and took two females into custody. They were identified as Burrows and Sugeiry Vazquez, 35, of Rochester.

The third suspect, a male, was not located and the investigation is ongoing.

The items reported stolen from T.J. Maxx were located in the minivan, which had been reported stolen to the Rochester Police Department. Additional stolen clothing and merchandise with security tags on them were located in the minivan as well.

Burrows was charged with Grand Larceny and Conspiracy. Charges are pending against Vazquez.
