Crossing guard struck by vehicle

North Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) North Tonawanda Police are investigating a crossing guard being hit by a vehicle.

Police say the crossing guard was a 78-year-old male who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Abington Place and Ohio Street this morning while school was letting in.

He was taken to ECMC for treatment of his injuries and the driver is cooperating with police.
