    “continue to hang on and wait”??? Are you kidding me? My rent went from $1575 to $2300…in TWO YEARS time. How much longer can I “hold on”? I’m still working my “career” job and have had to pick up a part time job…just to pay rent. There is ZERO affordable rent in Blount County.

    these local governments around don't care anything about the local citizens they just want money they want this Yankee money moving in down here. they should be trying to help the people that have paid in taxes to the county for many many years. lot of people moving in just trying to change our way of life and our so-called officials are going right along with it, true colors.
