Treat them well, increase their pay, provide them with liability insurance (like you do physicians), when they're understaffed put upper management on the floor to assist. Upper management should be at a trained as a CNA level caregiver. Require all nursing staff to work as a team to include CNAs, RNs, LPNs, and management.
