CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Graduating students at Pierpont Community and Technical College (PCTC) got some time in the spotlight Friday night as they walked across the stage of the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center to receive their degrees.

Those receiving degrees come from 45 U.S. states, as well as countries as far away as Japan. The graduates received degrees in different programs such as cyber security, advanced welding, aviation maintenance technology and licensed practical nursing .

“We are quick and flexible, agile enough to develop rapid skill sets that help people earn the skills they need, that enter the workforce in a marketable way, but also sets them up for continuing their educational journey should they want to advance toward a four-year degree,” PCTC Provost Michael Waide said.
