BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — If you’re looking for some deals and maybe even some treasures, you might be able to find them at West Virginia’s “Largest Yard Sale” across Lewis and Upshur counties.

The event kicked off Friday morning with dozens of vendors and hundreds of visitors across the area happily coming together under the hot summer sun. 12 News made a stop at the cluster of vendors in the parking lot of the Buckhannon Antique Mall, where vendor Patricia Zellhofer has set up shop for the past five years.

“Just to meet people and try to clean out my house of things I don’t need anymore and maybe let someone else enjoy my things,” said Zellhofer.

Zellhofer is one of the vendors who not only sells things they own but also makes their own items.

“You can find things that you can’t find anywhere else at a regular garage sale. These are almost like the antique dealers,” said Paul Phillips, who has visited the yard sale every year for the past few years.

The event will run through Saturday, Aug. 3 until 4 p.m. You can find a map of the vendors here .
