10th annual Tattoo Expo to be hosted in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Morgantown is preparing to get inked again as the 10th annual West Virginia Tattoo Expo nears.

This year the event will once again take place at the Marriott Waterfront Place Hotel/Morgantown Event Center from Aug. 23 through the 25.

Event organizer and producer Rocco Cunningham is looking forward to seeing artists show off their skills.

“This event brings together top-notch tattoo artists from across the country, showcasing their
skills in Morgantown,” Cunningham said in a press release. “With over 200 artists in attendance, attendees can expect nothing short of exceptional quality and professionalism.”

The event will include on-site tattooing and piercing, vendors, daily tattoo contests and the Miss Tattooed WV Pageant. Each artists work station will also be inspected by the Mon County Health Department to ensure health and safety.

Admission is $20 per day or $50 for the entire weekend. A $5 discount will be given to those with a student or military ID, and kids aged 12 and under can attend for free with an adult.
