    One dead in Lumberport vehicle accident

    LUMBERPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person is dead after an overnight vehicle accident in Lumberport.

    The Harrison County 911 Log states that a call came in at 12:43 a.m. on Sunday regarding a single vehicle accident on Gregory’s Run Road. The vehicle “left the roadway, bringing down lines and the truck landing in the field” according to the log. The road was temporarily closed as a result.

    Upon arriving at the scene responding agencies stated that it appeared a person was ejected from the vehicle. A medical examiner was called to the scene and pronounced the patient dead.

    Harrison County EMS and Sheriff’s Office, the Reynoldsville Fire Department, West Virginia State Police Bridgeport detachment and the West Virginia Division of Highways responded to this incident.
