Pittsburgh Steelers roster cuts tracker 2024

( WJET/WFXP )– It’s one of the hardest times of the year for players, coaches and general managers around the league as teams begin to cut their rosters to 53 players.

More than 1,2000 players will be cut around the league and since their preseason loss to the Lions on Saturday the Steelers have begun cutting their roster down with each cut tracked here.

Rosters around the NFL must be cut to 53 players by 6 p.m. on August 27 with 16 players able to be signed to the practice squad after being released.

The Steelers have also placed OL Dylan Cook and LB Jeremiah Moon on injured reserve with a designation to return while DB Ryan Watts and LB Julius Wlschof were placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Linebacker Cole Holcomb remained on the physically unable to perform list.
