GRAFTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — A scratch-off ticket worth $30,000 was recently sold at a Grafton convenience store.

According to a social media post from the West Virginia Lottery , the winning Dark Wood’s Trove ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Beech Street in Grafton. The post said that Rosemary F. was the winner.

Rosemary won the top prize for the $5 Dark Wood’s Trove scratch-off game. According to the WV Lottery’s website , she is the first person to win the top prize, and three more $30,000 tickets are still to be purchased in West Virginia. The odds of winning the top prize are one in 180,000.

Officials said there is ‘no threat’ after chemical leak reported in Clarksburg

Maybe the Grafton Circle K is good luck, because two years ago in the summer of 2022, a Powerball Ticket worth $1 million was also sold there .
