    Month long road closure to begin Tuesday in Preston County

    KINGWOOD, W.Va. (WBOY) — Those traveling in Preston County are urged to plan ahead before a month long road closure begins.

    A press release from the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announced that Preston County 50/1 Watson Criss Road at mile marker 0.21 will be closed from Sept. 3 until Oct. 4 for a box culvert installation project.

    Deputies say woman was DUI when she fled from police in semi and then crashed

    Established detour routes will include Preston County 76, Stevenburg Road, Preston County 119, Aubrey Wolfe Road, Preston County 50/2, Marquess-Isreal Road and US 50.

    Those traveling are advised by the WVDOH to plan for additional travel time.
