WEST UNION, W.Va. (WBOY) — All Doddridge County schools are closing early Wednesday due to a power outage, the superintendent told 12 News.

The schools are expected to reopen on Thursday, Adam Cheeseman said, but if the power is still out, it will not.

Mon Power’s outage map showed as of 10:17 a.m. that more than 1,300 customers were without power in Doddridge County.

Adam Cheeseman is no longer superintendent of Doddridge County; Mr. Cochran has held that position since July 1.
