    Crash closes I-79 South in Harrison County

    LOST CREEK, W.Va. – A vehicle accident shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 79, in southern Harrison County, Friday morning.

    The crash, which involved a tractor trailer and a minor fuel spill, was called in to 911 officials just after 5:30 a.m. at milemarker 106.5, which is between the Lost Creek and Jane Lew exits.

    No one was injured, officials said.

    The lanes reopened shortly after 8:00 a.m., 911 officials said.

    The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the Stonewood Police Department, Lost Creek, Stonewood and West Milford fire departments, along with the West Virginia Division of Highways, were all called to the scene, according to the Harrison-Taylor 911 Center.
