West Virginia Black Heritage Festival: Full 2024 schedule

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia Black Heritage Festival is happening this weekend! Here’s everything you need to know.

The festival kicks off with the Annual Kelly Miller Golf Tournament, Youth Block Party and basketball tournament on Friday, but the opening ceremony and live downtown Clarksburg entertainment start at noon on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Throughout the festival, festivalgoers can enjoy vendors, food, entertainment and celebrations of Black culture on Main Street in downtown Clarksburg. Much like during the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival last week , several blocks of Main Street will be closed to traffic.

1:15 p.m. – West Side Rhythm and Blues
2:45 p.m. – Lady D (West Virginia’s First Lady of Soul)
3:30 p.m. – Balafon West African Dancers
4:15 p.m. – Forever Yours – O’Jays Tribute
5:30 p.m. – The Franchise Band
7:30 p.m. – Invincible: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson
9:30 p.m. – Flight 66 Featuring Byron Cooper

Sunday Schedule

11 a.m. – Morning Worship
1 p.m. – Gospel Sing
6 p.m. – Closing Ceremony
