New Starbucks opens in White Hall

WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — The long-awaited Fairmont area Starbucks location has opened in White Hall.

The Town of White Hall announced Monday morning that the Starbucks in the Middletown Commons is open for business. The brand-new building is located between Chipotle and Grease Monkey.

Before the opening, the only other Starbucks in Marion County was on Fairmont State University’s campus, which has limited hours and no drive-thru. The new location has indoor dining and a drive-through and is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

This is one of several big-name chain stores that have opened in White Hall’s Middletown Commons in the last few years. Chipotle, ALDI, Michaels and Five Below as well as locally owned businesses like Donna’s Unique Gifts and Dark & Dusty Rec. Riders Tap House are all relatively new to the bustling shopping plaza.
